SCIENCE
"Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, or loose the belt of Orion? Job 38:31
Creation offers an endless source of fascination. Children are very curious about the cause and effect of how things tick, they are all natural scientist. We have a vegetable, root, wildflower, sunflower, edible flower and herb gardens. We just let ten Painted Lady butterflies go, that we watched grow from caterpillars!  We love science and it has endless possibilities.
MATH
and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

Did you know when your child is cleaning their room they are doing math?  Not only is math numbers, sorting, counting, graphing and patterns, it is also a beautiful universal language.  We exercise our math abilities through music, projects, fieldtrips and through play, math is everywhere!
MUSIC
"The Lord. . . will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
Do you know the musical alphabet? I can sit at the piano with a child and introduce them to the alphabet in a child friendly way. Noise, sound, rhythm, and rhyme I have yet to meet a child that doesn't like any of these. Not only do they love music it also helps them learn to listen, sing and move. Music is also a beautiful universal language and I think it’s amazing that we have the ability to sing!  We explore all different genre of music like opera, swing, classical and we also play around with solfège, do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, and ti, I think it’s fun and educational to discover what kinds of noise and pitch our voices and bodies can make. We also have a variety of percussion instruments’ including our very tense piano. We call it tense because it has 230 strings each having about 165 lbs of tension, that’s approximately eighteen tons, our piano is very tense!
ART
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
Creativity takes on many forms; I feel art is one of the best ways to exercise it. I feel the process of creating is more important than the finished product. It’s more about the mashing, squishing and pounding of the clay than what they mold.  I also think it is so important to think BIG.  I also feel creativity is hard work and children learn a lot from exercising their creativity and being exposed to creative people.
LANGUAGE
But His word was in my heart like burning fire shut up in my bones; Jeremiah 20:9
In the toddler and preschool year’s enormous leaps in language development occurs. It is really important to have language activities with them. Being very descriptive when you talk and using a broad vocabulary.  One of the most effective activities is dramatic play. They learn bartering skills, communication and socializing skills all while being creative. Also reading to them and listening to them tell stories help exercise language and creativity.
SIGN LANGUAGE
How great are His signs, and how mighty His wonders! Daniel 4:3
Did you know you lower and wrinkle your eyebrows when you question, huh? Did you know you raise your eyebrows when you agree?  We can’t learn sign language without learning body language which makes up 80% of our communication.  I also have a great opportunity to teach anatomy. Each of our fingers (or phalanges, which is a very silly word) has a name (index or pointer, middle, ring, pinky and thumb). Signing also helps children exercise their hand muscles, which is a building block for writing.


THEOLOGY
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and is to come, the Almighty." Revelations 1:8
God is the Creator of everything, in everything we explore, God is the Creator of it. Whether it is science or a movement activity God created it! We also have activities that are Bible activities such as, Bible stories on the flannel board, we also teach about the beattitudes, armor of God, fruits of the spirit, agape love and forgiveness. 
The Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works.
